Identifer in C language


Identifer refers to  name of the function, name of the variable and name of the array.

 Identifiers are user defined names and consists of sequence of alphabet, digit or underscore.

The underscore is also permitted in identifiers.

Ø    Rules for constructing identify-

1. Identify is any valid combination of  alphabet, digit or underscore.

2. Identifier must begin with the alphabet, underscore.

3.   Commas and blank are not allowed to construct the identifiers.

4. An identifier should not be a keyword.
